About us
The Victorian Herding Association (VHA) promotes, supports and encourages the sport of herding for all Australian National Kennel Club (ANKC) recognised herding breeds.
We were active in getting herding recognised as an ANKC sport and developing rules for the sport. We organise ANKC herding trials and tests throughout Victoria and promote herding education by running training days and clinics. Check out our guide on getting started in trialling.
We are the only non-breed specific herding club affiliated with Dogs Victoria. Dogs must be registered (Main, Limited, Associate or Sporting) with the Canine Body relevant to your state. Visit the website of your relevant Body to confirm registration requirements.
We hope that you will join us and look forward to getting to know you and your dogs while pursuing this fantastic sport.
